Flying Squad Conducts Surprise Inspection of Ongoing Examinations at MJPRU Bareilly Campus; Five Students Booked for Unfair Means

Bareilly: A flying squad constituted to curb malpractice and ensure the smooth conduct of examinations carried out a surprise inspection of various examination centres at the campus of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University on Saturday.

During the inspection, the squad detected instances of unfair practices at three examination centres. Two students were caught allegedly using mobile phones to cheat during the examination, while three other students were found in possession of unauthorized handwritten slips. Action was immediately initiated against all five students under the Unfair Means (UFM) regulations of the university.

Officials stated that apart from these isolated cases, examinations at the remaining centres were being conducted smoothly and in accordance with prescribed guidelines. The inspections were part of the university’s ongoing efforts to maintain transparency, discipline, and the integrity of the examination system.

The flying squad was led by Professor Vijay Bahadur Singh Yadav and included Dr. Prempal Singh, Dr. Ashish Jain, Dr. Lalit Kumar Pandey, and Dr. Kamini Vishwakarma. The team conducted thorough checks at multiple examination halls to ensure compliance with examination rules and to discourage any attempt at malpractice.

University authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent examination environment. They emphasized that strict action would continue to be taken against any student found violating examination regulations.

The surprise inspections are expected to continue throughout the examination period as part of the university’s strategy to uphold academic standards and ensure that examinations are conducted in a free and fair manner.
